Take some time to reconnect, give our mind and bodies some much-needed TLC!
We will ease ourselves into a gentle hour of breath and movement where your queerness is totally welcome. Hosted by Bella Blythe Movement - each session will introduce you to soothing and relaxing movement and breathing techniques.
Bella’s class takes a restorative approach and they do not use any hands on adjustments during the session. We want to ensure a safe, relaxing environment for getting back in touch with our bodies, where you can be your full self. This is a casual drop-in class.
Sessions will run for 60 mins.

FAQ
-
Bring your own if you can but we will have a few spare just in case. You are welcome to bring a blanket and cup of tea to keep yourself extra cosy if you wish.
-
Not at all! These classes are designed to focus more on our mental well being and our connection to our body than how strong or flexible you are.
-
You can dress however you like, we recommend you go for something comfy. Ensure that you can move easily and have layers to keep you warm. You might also want to bring some fluffy socks or a blanket to keep you extra cosy.
-
Not at all, but you need to respect that this is a space by and for queer people. Avoid assuming anything about a person’s gender or sexuality. Here is a handy guide on how to be an ally to trans and gender non-conforming people.
-
Queer bodies are often politicised and made a subject for public scrutiny and debate. It is unfortunate that even within the yoga community many people feel that there are unrealistic and unnecessary expectations placed on their bodies. Loving our bodies is an act of rebellion especially within the queer communuity and this is why it is important to have a queer-led space, where everyone can feel relaxed and at home in themselves.

We're committed to making our events as safe as possible for everyone attending. If you're showing symptoms of COVID, or testing positive on a lateral flow on the day of the event, please do not attend. We understand these tests are no longer free, and we do not want the cost to be prohibitive, so proof of a negative test is not currently a requirement to attend our events.
Additionally, with the lifting of the mask mandate our venues are no longer enforcing the wearing of face coverings. However, we will be using large, airy venues and maintaining social distancing where possible to prevent the spread of illness. Some things that you could do to support this include:
- Taking a lateral flow test on the day of the event, if you're able to do so.
- Continuing to wear a face covering, especially when moving around a venue. Please be mindful that not everyone can wear a face covering, and not all disabilities are visible.
- Maintaining social distance from other people, and ask permission before getting close to people.
- Continuing to wash or sanitise your hands regularly.
Please also contact us via email if you start showing symptoms in the days after an event: info@tartproductions.co.uk. Thank you for helping us keep our queer spaces safe for all!
