Fruit Cakes

  • Cornerstone Arts Centre 25 Station Road Didcot, England, OX11 7NE United Kingdom (map)
Group of 7 people smiling and facing the camera, all around a large table of games & coffee cups. Two people are holding up a large pride flag.

Fruit Cakes is a casual meet up for all queer and LGBTQ+ people!

Whether you’ve been out and proud for years, or are just beginning to question your identity, you’re welcome here!

This is a safe space for you to have coffee, eat cake, meet new people, and make new friends. Our team is happy to greet you and introduce you to other people. We’re easy to spot - we’ll be behind the front desk at the table with all the mini pride flags!

FAQ

  • Not at all, but you need to respect that this is a space by and for queer people. Avoid assuming anything about a person’s gender or sexuality. Here is a handy guide on how to be an ally to trans and gender non-conforming people.

  • Not at all, you can just drop in whenever! If you’re nervous or have any questions you’re welcome to message us on social media or email info@tartproductions.co.uk beforehand.

  • There aren’t a great deal of LGBTQ+ events in Didcot. We need safe, inviting spaces where we can express ourselves without fear of harassment and be celebrated for what makes us different.
