Then come along to the Digital Queer Quiz, hosted by our very own JJ Fitzgerald (they/them) as well as a selection of fabulous guests! Join us to meet new people, test your knowledge of queer trivia, and win tickets to one of our deliciously camp events.

This event is part of T(ART) Pride Festival – a gorgeously queer festival celebrating YOU!

The Digital Queer Quiz will held on Tuesday 5th July. The space will be open from 19:00 and the quiz will begin at 19:15.

FAQ

Do I need to be queer to attend?

Not at all, but you need to respect that this is a space by and for queer people. We will be showcasing and spotlighting themes such as Queer History, Queer Art, and Queer Activism. Avoid assuming anything about a person’s gender or sexuality based on their body. Why is this space necessary?

There aren’t a great deal of queer events in Oxford. We need safe spaces where we can express ourselves without fear of harassment and be celebrated for what makes us different. It’s also important to celebrate queer history and culture in spaces where it will be heard and respected.

Is there an entry fee?

No, this event is free to attend! However, if you would like to support the work we do at T(ART) Productions, you can make a small donation to our paypal at tartproductionsox@gmail.com

What is the prize?

The prize for getting the highest overall score in the quiz is three tickets to any of the upcoming T(ART) Pride events. For a full list of our events, please visit https://www.tartproductions.co.uk/tartpride

Do I need to be competing for the prize?

Not at all! You are more than welcome to come along and participate just for fun. If you would still like to submit your scores for the overall totals at the end, that is fine, please just let the host know that you aren't playing for the prize!

How many people can we have on our team?

You can, in theory, have as many people as you like on your team but we only have a maximum of three tickets to give away we recommend that your team is no more than three people!

Do I need to have my camera on?

Only if you feel comfortable, although we will always be delighted to see your lovely faces.

How will the quiz be marked?

You will mark your own answers after each round and each team will report their score to the host. We trust you all to be fair and honourable when it comes to marking the quiz. Teams engaging in obvious cheating will be disqualified from winning the prize.

How can I get involved?

If you are interested in writing a round of the quiz and would like to be added to the quiz team, please contact tartproductionsox@gmail.com. Please note that this will take you out for the running for the prize!

ACCESSIBILITY

The quiz will be carried out on Google Hangouts as this platform has an auto-caption feature. Copies of the questions will also be pasted into the chat at the end of each round during the deliberation time. A brief description will be included in the introduction of the host and each guest host at the beginning of their rounds. In order to ensure the best sound quality, please ensure that you are muted whilst the host is reading the questions. Once the deliberation time has begun, the host will repeat any questions if required. If you have any specific accessibility requirements please get in touch on tartproductionsox@gmail.com.
